Privacy

Short version: no accounts, no uploads, no ads, and analytics without cookies or personal data. Supporters can sign in with a code sent to their Ko-fi email; nobody else sends us anything.

Your army lists stay on your device

Roster files and pasted lists are read in your browser and saved only in your browser's local storage, along with your settings (theme, comparator options, the detachment you picked for each army). Nothing is uploaded. Clearing your browser data removes it.

Game data

Datasheets load in your browser from the BSData project's public files on GitHub (raw.githubusercontent.com), or from the jsDelivr mirror if GitHub can't be reached. Like any website, those services see your IP address when your browser requests the files. Nothing about you or your lists is sent.

Supporters

If you support us on Ko-fi, Ko-fi tells our small server (a Cloudflare Worker) about each payment. It keeps a scrambled (keyed-hash) form of your email, never the email itself, with your tier, when you paid and for how many months: enough to recognise you, nothing else. To sign in on a device you type that email: it's used once, to send you a code by email (through the email service Resend), and isn't kept. Your device then keeps a private sign-in token, and we keep a scrambled copy of it until you sign out (or sign in on a fourth device). A coffee or a gift code unlocks a month the same way. If you buy gift codes in our Ko-fi shop, we email them to you and keep only a scrambled copy of each until it's used; whoever redeems one types their own email, kept in the same scrambled form. Visitors who don't sign in send us nothing.

Feedback

The 💬 Feedback button sends what you type, your email only if you give it, the page you were on, your matchup's link, the data version, and your browser and screen size to a Google Form that only we read (see Google's privacy policy). Nothing is sent unless you press Send.

Analytics

We use Plausible Analytics, which does not use cookies and does not collect personal data. It counts page views and a few anonymous events (for example "roster imported" with the faction and file type) to show which features people use.

No ads

Tactical Reroll carries no advertising and no ad trackers.
